Fashioned in the style of tales told long ago\u00a0(circa 1060), this\u00a08.5 x 11 children’s picture book is beautifully detailed\u00a0with eighteen \u00a0illustrations by Shane Morgan. \u00a0My grandfather, Jacob, related a similar story to his grandchildren many times over, back in the 1960\u2019s. I\u2019m sure you\u2019ll enjoy sharing it with your family. Suitable for ages 3 and older.<\/p>\n

O<\/strong>nce\u00a0upon a time, a little boy, named Jacob, took his father\u2019s team of horses and wagon into the Dark Forest to gather firewood. Suddenly, a big scary giant stepped out from behind the trees where he\u2019d been watching. He kidnapped the boy and forced him to spend the night in a small cave.<\/p>\n

J<\/strong>acob had to think of a way to outsmart the giant so he could escape and get back home.<\/p>\n
